5. Maintain Healthy Living Habits

Someone under stress often neglects their own health and is ripe to be struck with a multitude of illnesses. Optimal health is important at all times, but is of added importance during times of duress.

One can improve their overall health by:

  • Consuming healthy foods
  • Exercising
  • Getting adequate sleep
  • Drinking a lot of water
  • Avoiding drugs, alcohol and other reckless activities

6. Don’t Ignore Your Inner Feelings

While it is always beneficial to think and breathe positive thoughts, there will, at times, be moments when people must face the negative emotions they are experiencing.

The harsh reality is that, only by dealing with such feelings, can someone finally begin to heal.
