The question I have to ask is, can you make your dreams a reality?
And if so, how much are you willing to sacrifice to make it happen?”
My Reason and Story
There never were a time in my life where I felt that every facet of my being, was going downhill. I never suffered from depression, anxiety, or any severe mental health disorders, so I feel I can say that I’m quite lucky to be perfectly happy and healthy today.
To cut it short, I never had an ‘Aha’ moment, where my outlook on life completely changed. No, there was no epiphany for me – but there were something else that changed. I understood what the point in life was.
I could comprehend perfectly, that the point in life, was to make my own point. To create my own destiny and reality based on my beliefs and actions.
It’s strange how I’m more than thankful for the fact that is took me ‘only’ 21 years to understand this. I haven’t really been in control of my life.
I just did things on a whim, but now my actions have purpose, relevance and strong intentions.
No matter which source of information or entertainment I consumed, I realised a lot of negative thoughts began to surface and emerge.
Images seen in newspapers, magazines, games and television programmes – provided me with the insight to realise, that negativity is a very powerful force which is currently driving the world we’re in today.
I am absolutely disgusted by how people think about and treat themselves today, young people in particular.
I want to put a stop to it.
I want to launch campaigns that will improve the self-esteem amongst young adults and help others feel comfortable in their own bodies.
I want to teach people how to harness the forces of the universe in their favour, in order to improve their lives.
Through concepts such as the art of living and self-actualisation, I decided to embark on a personal journey, the journey towards a balanced life.
By doing this, I can accomplish two things.
- Firstly, I can prove to myself for real; most things are in our control.
- Secondly, to show other people that they can do it too.
Change is possible. And you can improve yourself in any way you wish to if you teach your body and your mind exactly what you want from it.
I wrote a couple of short essays on The Student Room a few years ago, and the response was overwhelmingly positive that it led me to begin a life-long mission showing others what is required to achieve a balance life, to live a life of excellence and ever-lasting happiness.
